Jon Tichich specializes in assisting business owners in the private sector with nearly a decade of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience. Jon advises business owners on a wide range of transaction needs, from preparing for market to complex business transactions. Sell-side service areas include normalizing financials, assessing value drivers, comprehensive transaction analyses, writing confidential informational memorandums (CIMs), developing custom strategies to maximize transaction economics, creating competitive marketplaces for businesses, effectively managing multiple offer scenarios, organizing and managing the due diligence process, collaborating with legal advisors on LOIs, purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents among other elements of the decision-making and transaction process.
Before joining Calhoun Companies, Jon’s M&A career began in 2013 with Sunbelt Business Advisors. During his time there he facilitated over 50 transactions, achieved Presidents Club status for five consecutive years along with being recognized as Broker of the Year in 2020.
As a member of the Minnesota Precisions Manufacturing Association (MPMA), Jon is recognized as one of the most trusted, experienced and knowledgeable advisors in the industry. Outside of manufacturing, Jon has extensive experience serving business owners in distribution, e-commerce, logistics and construction.
